About the Project
June 2010, Rimini Fiera, Italy
Staged at the 14th edition of Ecomondo—the premier international trade fair for material recovery and sustainable development—Eco Brain was a massive contemporary art intervention spanning 800 square meters. Curated by art critic Martina Cavallarin, the exhibition served as a "place of imagination and energy," strategically positioned at the intersection of industrial green technology and new lifestyles.
Supported by major partners including Acea Group, Kaspersky Lab, and Zerotecnica, the project functioned as a hub for ethical and ecological reflection. Eco Brain brought together a diverse group of international artists to explore themes of social and bio-diversity through a "hybrid mixture of styles." By grafting high-concept art into a global business environment, the exhibition aimed to inspire a new humanism—one where creativity acts as the essential catalyst for saving the planet.
