About the Project

Green Building Map: propelling change in real estate. 

Fortunato Productions, in collaboration with EcoArt Project and the Columbia University GSAPP (Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation), developed the Green Building Map to encourage dialogue among architecture, design, and sustainability.

The project features an interactive digital map that identifies nearly 1,000 sustainable buildings across New York City, including properties that are LEED-certified, Passive House–certified, or ENERGY STAR–rated.

The mission of the Green Building Map is to connect the public with sustainable real estate and built environments—from individual apartments to pioneering rooftop gardens, from eco-friendly office spaces to net-zero buildings—highlighting how thoughtful design and innovative technology can drive meaningful environmental change.
