MoTech Eco

Project: MoTech Eco

Sustainable Mobility

Anatomy of the Project

  • Industry Integration: A site-specific exhibition curated within the high-tech halls of a sustainable mobility trade show.

  • Educational Narrative: Designed to increase public literacy around clean transportation technologies through the intuitive language of art.

  • Curated Artist Selection: A showcase of international artists invited to interpret the themes of motion, energy, and urban transit.

  • Strategic Venue: Located at the Nuova Fiera di Roma, positioning the exhibition at the heart of Italy's industrial and institutional dialogue.

  • Cross-Sector Collaboration: A successful experiment in merging the transportation sector with the creative arts to promote a lower-impact lifestyle.

About the Project

In February 2010, EcoArt Project was invited to stage a specialized exhibition at MoTechEco, Italy’s premier trade show dedicated to sustainable mobility and innovative transportation technology. Held at the Nuova Fiera di Roma, the project was designed to act as a creative bridge between the technical world of industrial transport and the public’s perception of environmental responsibility.

By integrating contemporary art directly into the trade show halls, the exhibition served as a powerful tool for awareness and education. EcoArt Project curated a selection of artists whose work specifically engaged with the concepts of movement, energy, and the ecological footprint of modern infrastructure. This intervention transformed a traditional business environment into an interactive cultural space, highlighting the "human side" of technological progress in the transportation industry.
